Chef Lisa’s fifth restaurant, Sage is a cozy 80 seat BYOB nestled in the heart of the Jersey Shore in Ventnor City. Opened in May 2007, Sage was awarded a rare Four Stars by the Press of Atlantic City that same year and continues to delight customers with an eclectic menu with flourishes of Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, Spanish and American cuisine.

 Chef Lisa and her team bring the exquisite tastes of Italy and her distinct creative style directly to you and your guests through her on-site and catering offerings. Next door at Lisa's Chef Savage offers lighter more casual offerings with a selection of pizza, pasta, salads and small plates. Serving.... Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

The evolution of Sage began quite humbly, much like the genesis of Chef Savage. She graduated with honors from the ACC's Culinary School and studied at the Italian Culinary Institute in Torino, Italy, as one of 30 chefs awarded a coveted scholarship from the GRUPPO RISTORATORI ITALIANI based in New York. It was here where her passion for Italian flavors blossomed as she learned from the finest regional chefs throughout the country. It is here that the scents of fresh ingredients and tastes of homemade pastas help to set fire to her true calling. This experience set and influenced shaped the foundation of her style of cooking that she has been recognized by her customers for the last 15 years. She believes in marrying the best quality ingredients and letting her food creations speak for themselves.

As passionate as she is for her food creations, Chef Lisa’s flare for creating does not end in the kitchen, nor does her passion for helping others. Supporting charities shares the helm with just as much zest. Her favorite causes include The Atlantic City Rescue Mission, MANNA at the Shore, the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer Center, the Jewish Community Center, and The South Jersey Aids Alliance. In each case she compassionately shares her love of food to those who are less fortunate.
